Meetup.com Can Be A Valuable Resource For Your Business

Meetup.com is a free resource that every business person should utilize. I’m a member of Asheville Business Connections and the organizers of my local Meetup are Wayne Porter and Mandy Wildman. There are about 450 members and these members come from every walk of the business world. Some are employed and some are self employed the point is everyone has the opportunity to network.

OK, you have this awesome product or service now what? Most new marketers fail because the go about there business all wrong! I know because I did too…when I started. I was so focused on my product that I didn’t realize what I did not know and like the quote says “I did the best I knew how to do, and when I knew better I did better”.

I’m going to share three things that will help your business: first, you need a mentor. Every entrepreneur should have a mentor — someone who’s been down that road before and can share his or her wisdom on an ongoing basis. Remember, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

Second, you need a marketing system. Early in my marketing business I marketed all wrong, it wasn’t until I plugged into a marketing system that my business began to change.  Through this experience I eventually developed my own system Branding System PRO.

Lastly, you hopefully already have a great product/service, now you can get guidance from your mentor implement strategies from your marketing system and you should begin to see results in your business.
